Melissa Mannon, MSLS, CAGS
LIBRARY DIRECTOR
Melissa has worked in libraries and related fields for over 30 years. She received her undergraduate degree from UNH, a graduate degree in library science with a concentration in archives management from Simmons College, and a post-graduate certificate in education from Plymouth State University. She has worked in public libraries, museums, and archives, has managed her own archives consulting business, and is the author of several books on cultural organizations, communities, and collaboration. Melissa is excited to serve the people of Kingston and to build a collaborative culture here at KCL.

Michelle Cole, MLS
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Michelle began her library career in 2006 at the Manchester City Library. In 2018, she left to join the staff at the Hooksett Library. She started in her current position at Kingston in 2022. Michelle received her undergraduate degree from SNHU in 2018 and her Master's Degree in Library Science in 2021 from the University of North Texas. Michelle enjoys helping anyone with anything. If she doesn't know the answer to a question, she is determined to find it! Michelle received the NHLA READS award of Excellence in 2023 for her work as KCL’s Adult Services Lbirarian and was promoted to Assistant Director in 2025.

Carolyn Thompson
CHILDREN’S LIBRARIAN
Carolyn worked as a Special Education Assistant at the elementary school level for twelve years. She began her library career in 2016 working part-time at the Pelham Public Library before joining the KCL staff in March 2023. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Merrimack College and earned her graduate certificate in Library Media Studies from Plymouth State University.
